These forums were created by Cyber Air Broker for members to role-play, discuss, and/or give game play advice on any aspect of travel in the Philippines and other countries. We ask that you treat fellow posters with respect and courtesy and that you conduct yourself in a civilized manner when participating in these forums.

The following guidelines and rules explain what is expected of you and other community members. The guidelines are not exhaustive, and as such the forum administrators and moderators shall have discretion to address any behavior that may be deemed inappropriate for these forums.

Level Up! reserves the right to suspend access to these forums at any time for any reason not limited to failure to abide by these guidelines.

Repeated violations of any of the guidelines will result in permanent suspension from the forums.

These policies are not language-restrictive. Posts will always be subject to the penalties listed, whether it is in English, Filipino, or any other language.

It is the responsibility of the users of these forums to be aware of these guidelines. Failure to be so informed does not release, nor excuse, them from coverage of these guidelines.

I. Naming Rules

The following are considered inappropriate for your Forum names, Character names, or Guild names:

Indecent Sexual Acts
Inappropriate reference to human, animal, or alien anatomy or bodily functions
ex. Crappingman, Robopisser, Elfboobs
National, Religious, Racial or Ethnic Insult/Ridicule/Negative Sentiment
ex. Ussucks, Blackmankiller
Insults referring to other characters, players, groups, guilds/clans, cafes, Level Up! employees/departments/partners or Level Up! Inc itself
Based on major religious figures or religions
ex. Jesus Christ, Islam, Buddah
Illegal drugs or activities
ex. Shabu, Daterape, Whoringallnight, Gangbangbaby
Any non-Level Up! related businesses, organizations, web-sites, e-mail or contact numbers
ex. Loseweight970337568, Wwwdotdiscountsdotcom, Drinkcocacola
Trademark/licensed by a company or individual
ex. KFC, Jollibee
Level Up! GM, Level Up! Employee, Play tester, Forum Sentinel (real names and aliases)
Moderators from other Level Up! Message boards -- the names of any moderator from the other message boards of Level Up! such as RagnaBoards, PWBoards, etc. (real names and aliases)
Any other names that Level Up! deems as inappropriate for the game.

Penalty: Forum account renaming or deletion (for validating members)

II. Private servers, client modifications, cheats, bots, or any other third-party programs

Discussion of private servers, modified clients, third-party programs (‘bots’, macros), and game exploits are not allowed. Advocating such topics is also covered by this rule, hence statements like "don't stop private servers, it's fun!" or “private servers are way better” will merit the same penalty.

Lastly, posting any discussions or links to unlicensed copyrighted material is prohibited in this forum. This includes MP3 and Anime episode sites, CD key generators or sites that present ways to get them through non-legal means.

Penalty: Permanent Suspension

III. Illegal Trades

Illegal trading covers the following:

Advertising inter-server trades.
Advertising inter-racial trades.
Exchanging in-game goods for real life items.
Selling of in-game items for real currency and vice versa.

Discussion and advocacy of the following items above, or any variant of if shall merit the same penalty. Posts that implicitly advocate or promote illegal trades such as the posting of mobile phone numbers, locations, and other personal information shall also be treated as a violation of this rule.

Penalty: Minimum of 2 counts, maximum of 3 counts depending on severity

IV. Impersonation

This covers any attempts to impersonate a GM, Vanguard, CCR or Level Up! employee, Philippine government entity or official, Forum Sentinel or other members of the RFO-Ph community. Any user found to be making claims on behalf of or in the name of the above and found not to be authorized will be sanctioned under this offense.

Penalty: Minimum of 2 counts, maximum of 3 counts depending on severity

V. Distribution of Real-Life Personal Information

This refers to releasing any real-life information about other players or Level Up! employees without express permission are considered as violations to a person’s privacy. Examples of this would be releasing email, phone numbers, online community accounts (Friendster, etc.).

Penalty: Minimum of 1 count, maximum of 3 depending on severity

VI. Inappropriate Content

Inappropriate content covers a wide range of lesser offenses. This offense covers statements, clear or masked, that display actions that are generally deemed as inappropriate for discussion in forums that may have young readers. This includes, and is not limited to, the following:

A. Racial/Ethnic Hatred

B. Extreme Sexuality/Violence

C. Sexual Orientation

D. Obscene/Vulgar

E. Religions or Religious Figures

F. National Hatred

G. Illegal Drugs or Activities

Penalty: Minimum of 2 counts, maximum of 3 counts depending on severity

VII. Real Life Threats or Malingering

This refers to posts, and/or links that threaten to do harm to other users in real life (a form of logical fallacy), as well as the propagation of unconfirmed rumors about a person/group of person’s alleged actions.

Penalty: Minimum of 1 count, maximum of 3 counts depending on severity

VIII. Harassment or Defamation

This includes posts with clear and masked language, and/or links to websites containing language or images that insultingly refer to other characters, players, Level Up! employees or groups of people.

Harassment takes many forms, and is not necessarily limited to the type of language used, but the intent.

Penalty: Minimum of 1 count, maximum of 2 counts depending on severity

IX. Flaming and Flame-baiting

Flaming and flame-baiting constitute the hostile act of an individual towards other users. This includes and is not limited to posts that:

are non-constructive in nature
elicit other users to react in a negative manner
attack the other users (ad hominem attacks)

Persons who are repeatedly caught committing the said offense shall be candidates for permanent blocking of forum access.

Penalty: 1 offense count

X. Unreleased Content

This includes posts containing language and/or links to websites containing unreleased in-game items, equipment, or areas that have been unlocked by hacking into client data files.

Penalty: Minimum of 3-day post suspension, maximum of 3 offense counts depending on severity

IX. Spamming

Spamming refers to posting comments unrelated to the topic under discussion, posting pointless responses (such as a simple emoticon or a one-liner), repeated posting of the same topic across the forums, and posting outside of the appropriate section. This also includes the discussion of other games, or a mere mention of another with intent to drive a user's attention away from RFO-Ph.

Penalty: Minimum 2-day post suspension, maximum of 3 offense counts depending on severity

X. Commercial Posts

This includes posts and links that advertise any non-beneficial, non RFO-Ph related games, businesses, organizations, or websites. Soliciting of products that have nothing to do with the game also falls in this category.

Penalty: Minimum of 2-day post suspension, maximum of 3 offense counts depending on severity

XI. Discussing Disciplinary Actions

This includes posts or threads to discuss disciplinary actions taken against a player, as well as including chat logs and email correspondence between a player and a Game Master, Player Volunteer (Vanguards, Forum Sentinel), or LU employees

Penalty: 3-day post suspension

XII. Misuse of Font Size/Capital Letters

This pertains to the excessive use of capital letters and overly sized fonts for posts that occupies a large section of the thread unnecessarily.

Penalty: 2-day post suspension

XIII. User Posted Images

This section covers all guidelines regarding the use of user posted images, including forum signatures, personal photos, and forum avatars. This rule was created in order to allow users with lower bandwidths access to the forums without the large images bogging them down. Furthermore, repeat offenders of the following guidelines will be subject to harsher sanctions.

A. Forum Signatures

Forum signatures should follow the format below:

Users found possessing signatures that do not comply with the rules are subject to have their signatures removed or changed by the forum moderators.

B. Forum Avatars

Forum avatars are allowed to have a maximum file size of 100 Kb. Forum avatars are also subject to the other rules found in the Code of Conduct; therefore, forum avatars that violate sections concerning vulgarity, etc. will be imposed on the user instead. Forum avatars that are found to have violated this guideline will be removed with or without warning by the forum moderators.

Please note that users who upload images that contain violations of Section V (Inappropriate Content) will be sanctioned with the penalty that applies to the corresponding content.

Penalty: Warning PM (incrementing sanction)

(Moderators reserve the right to skip to account deletion if the offense in question is deemed a deliberate and/or serious violation of the rules.)

Important Note:
Once you have been suspended, you are NOT allowed to create another account to bypass that suspension. If your account is permanently suspended, you may create a new account but you will have to email a moderator and ask for a second chance. Otherwise, that NEW account will be permanently suspended.

Offense Counts stack until the end of the year, wherein they will be reset unless your account was permanently suspended.
